More than just cables: What's in the Box?
It's the difference between an audio cable and an audio interface.

"Simply put, an audio cable is a piece of wire that is used to make a random connection between audio components. An audio interface is an engineered component that is purposefully designed to efficiently transport energy, with a predetermined bandwidth, from one component to another.

"Audiophiles are all familiar with the now infamous "cable debate" surrounding the question of the impact that audio cables have in a hi-fi system. Today’s audiophiles understand that differently designed cables do impact the overall sound of their systems. We at MIT Cables agree. But these "just wire" designs only serve to manipulate the sound by changing the relationship of capacitance, inductance, and resistance within the cable. They don’t eliminate any problems.

    Marihart Audio - Matrix 12 Speaker Interface - Very good timbre accuracy, good depth and detailing in the midrange, good tight bass and highs. Not picky about what speakers are being driven-used LSA 2 Statements, Magnapan 1.7, Epos 12i, Revel F12, to name afew. Performed very well with all speakers and amps-large departure from the AVT line.

    Amps used ranged from Solid State to full tube amps (LSA Standard, Cary Audio SLI80, JoLida JD 302, JoLida 1701, Parasound Classic, etc.) with no difference in apparent response.

    This cables is staying out front our front demo system. Performed very well against REDACTED and REDACTED.

    Very good wire and it dominates the $600 price point. Better than REDACTED in bass and high extension, same in midrange depth and accuracy, but not in timbre. REDACTED doesn't compete. Love the fact that it is not amp or speaker picky. It is staying in the front demo system as we need a wire that can handle widely varying loads and impedances.

    • Guy’s, you say “3X just cable” (MIT-3’s)? Try 30 times! $150 ? The greatest bargain I can think of. God forbid I start to listen to your better stuff. You have truly created a spectacular product. No need to be modest. I take it these are a relatively newly introduced series ? I recall MIT from 25-years ago. I was surprised to recently hear of the name ?? I recall Mit’s earlier stuff including the (Monster) Powerline stuff etc. –that was nowhere near what you’ve created here. Once reviewer’s get their hands on these, I can’t imagine anyone not recommending them without reservation. Beautifully done!"

    Marihart Audio - Matrix 3i Interconnect - Very good timbre accuracy, good tight frequency response, small and easy to see direction (markings are good). Easier to see Right and Left than in previous cables. Good quality connectors. Good bass response. If you are looking for timbre accuracy these are it.
