Joe Abrams's Biography:
Over the past 30 years, Joe Abrams has held executive positions with MIT Cables, Monster Cable, Sumiko, Threshold, Tara Labs, and Audioquest; and has consulted with about a half-dozen more.

Currently, he owns Equus Audio and its sister company, Portal Audio.

Equus Audio's job is to give you good advice about how to match your components with the cables that will make your system sound its best. This requires an overview; an understanding of how sources, amplification, speakers, cables, and power conditioning all work together. When an audio system is matched optimally, that’s when the whole becomes greater than the sum of the parts. That's when jaws drop, goose-bumps form, and disbelief is suspended!
