MIT Cables at RMAF 2017

John Stancavage - part-time audiophile (parttimeaudiphile.com).

"I started with one of my favorites, Ella Fitzgerald. On two vinyl cuts, “Black Coffee” and “Angel Eyes,” the immediacy of the singer’s voice was extraordinary."

"...allowed the listener to fully appreciate Fitzgerald’s mastery of pitch, tempo and breath control."

"I listened to Johnny Hartman croon Rogers and Hart’s “I Could Write a Book....created a huge soundstage for Hartman and highlighted his superb phasing and ability to slide smoothly to resonant low notes."

"The Neoliths, though, did more than just bring Ella and Johnny into the room. The piano on the demo tracks, especially, sounded as authentic as I’ve heard. "

"...created a huge soundstage for Hartman and highlighted his superb phasing and ability to slide smoothly to resonant low notes. "

"...Cable was MIT"

MIT at RMAF 2017: Crestone Peak Room - MIT Cables is pleased to announce our presence at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2017 in Denver, CO. Our multiple award winning Oracle MA-X reference products were chosen for the speaker interfaces, interconnects and power. These include the Oracle Matrix SHD 120 speaker interfaces, Oracle MA-X Rev 3 RCA interconnects, Oracle MA-X Rev 3 XLR interconnects, and the Oracle Z-Cord Reference power cables.

Musical Surroundings will be demonstrating three of their turntables; the Clearaudio Master Innovation with top-of-the-line TT1-MI arm, AMG Giro turntable with DS Audio DS-002 Optical cartridge, and the new Clearaudio Concept Black turntable/ and tonearm with a Hana SL cartridge. The Martin Logan Neolith speakers are powered by an Audio Research Ref 6 preamplifier and Ref 3 phono stage driving their Reference 750 SE monoblock amplifiers. Digital source is the Audio Research Ref CD9 compact disc player/DAC. The racks and isolation base are provided by HRS (Harmonic Resolution Systems), and acoustical treatments from ASC include the IsoThermal TubeTraps and StudioTraps.

MIT Cables approaches cabling to properly interface components to operate as a single unit, or “System”. A System approach creates a single voice from many different contributors, similar to an orchestra or chorus made up of many voices. Similar to tuning an orchestra to a single perfect pitch, properly interfaced components can become more than the sum of its parts. We celebrate with our exhibit partners and all that contributed to creating the sonic experience at each of the several rooms.
